The cardinals have returned and scold us from the front porch when their feeder is empty. The daffodils have bloomed and are holding steady as the temperature takes a plunge into the 40’s this week. Despite the cold weather, we made our yearly flower trip and picked up herb plants and Shock Wave petunias for the pots. The gazebo is covered although the cushions are piled by the patio door. Vivaldi has claimed them as a snoozing spot after a scuffle on the front lawn with the neighborhood bully.
